This etching is inspired by Dulcinea, beloved lady of Don Quixote, who never knows how many mad & heroic deeds have been carried out in her name. The model is my own beloved, Brittney del Toboso.

I recorded footage while making this etching so that I could share the process. At it’s core, making an etching is very simple, but I found it difficult to fully understand until I made one myself. I tried to make this video the next best thing, and hope it makes more accessible this medium that I love so much. Hope you enjoy!

As indicated by the Paradise Lane Press chop in the bottom right corner, this etching was handprinted here in the artist’s studio. Learn more about PLP here.

Note to collectors:
There will always be slight variances between each print. I strive for consistency throughout the edition, but the nature of printing etchings by hand is that no two are exactly alike. Yours will look very similar to, but not exactly like, the print shown here. This is why each print of the edition is considered an original, not a reproduction.
